Dear YUSA Members,
Yesterday, we met with the Employer to discuss Unit 1 collective bargaining. The Employer advised us at the meeting that they would not be ready to share their bargaining proposals until mid-September. The Employer will be providing us with a list of potential meeting dates so we can begin scheduling future bargaining meetings shortly. We advised the Employer that we want to have a regular frequency of meetings scheduled so we can keep our momentum going once bargaining has started.
Once we receive dates from the Employer, we will update the membership, but it seems likely that we will be exchanging our initial proposals with the Employer in mid-September.
